2008 Super Saturday Theme Announced |

The winner of the Super Saturday celebration theme contest has been announced. "Come and See the Buzz on Super Saturday" has been selected as the theme of the 2008 Super Saturday. The winning theme was submitted by 9 year old Cheyenne Braun daughter of Veronic Braun of Sturtevant. For her work she was awarded a $50 Visa gift card. The runner up is 9 year old Lexi Sorensen, for her work she was awarded a $25 Visa gift card. Congratulations to these two and thank you to all the other participants in the contest.

The Main Even/Flabango Fest |
When Super Saturday is over the night life will begin in Union Grove. Be sure to be on hand for "The Main Event", the rededication and blessing of Main Street. The Main Event will be held at Village Square Park at 6:00. Following the Main Event make sure you stick around for Flabango Fest, the 4th annual street dance sponsored by the Union Grove Kiwanis Club. Live music from "The Now" will fill Village Square from 7-11 p.m..
